Family Campout - 2008

We just got back from our annual Family Camp out up at Bear Lake. It was great. During the camp out, Tim brought a generator and Grandpa brought his slide projector and old family slides. It was just like old times. When some slides of me came up when I was little, many people said "Look there's Jacob!" It was fun. On Saturday we went to Bear Lake and did our normal playing in the water and on the beach. Then Kyle met us there because he had to work until the afternoon. But it was great to have him there for the rest of the trip. For the rest of the trip we stayed at St. Charles campground then at Tony Grove. Kyle took us to the Paris Ice Caves and he taught us to repel. The harness was too small for Melinda and Jacob but the rest of us went down several times. It was fun in a scary sort of way. We also hiked over to White Pine Lake from Tony Grove. It is about an 8 mile round trip. All the kids did great! We are all tired and dirty and ready to sleep in our own beds, but we had a great time.
